Artist's Description

Pritzlaff. The historic 3rd Ward Pritzlaff Building built in 1875, was once the home of one of the largest hardware companys in the the mid-west, and the largest in Milwaukee, WI. The company was begun by John Pritzlaff, a Prussuian immigrant who arrived in Milwaukee in 1841. In 1850 he started the hardware company. At it's peak, the company employed 400 people. Over the years the two other additions would be made to the original building, making the complex 300,000 square feet. Pritzlaff's son, and then grandson ran the business until 1958, when the company was in such decline that they decided to close the doors. Today the history building still stands and is home to condominiums, retail, office space, and an upscale event venue.

The latest additions to my Galleries. All of the art work found here is available to be printed on canvas, metal, acrylic, or as gallery prints and fine art greeting cards.
