Description
Racine's North Beach Pierhead light was first put into service in 1901. After many years of use it was finally discontinued. It still stands at the end of the breakwall, at the south end of North Beach Park. It no longer serves as the official light for the north breakwater at the Racine Harbor, but is lit with flood lights and is a symbol of the City of Racine, Wisconsin.
